Robeco appoints Head of UK Institutional Sales
Rotterdam/London, 7 December 2020 – Robeco today announces the appointment of Katie Weber as Head of UK Institutional Sales.
In this newly created role Ms. Weber will be responsible for driving the growth of Robeco’s institutional client footprint in the UK, which currently includes public and corporate pension schemes, insurers and fiduciary managers. Ms. Weber is based in London and reports to Alexander Preininger, Head of Robeco EMEA Institutional Sales. Her appointment is effective immediately.
With over 13 years’ experience in the asset management industry, Ms. Weber joins Robeco from AllianceBernstein, where she most recently served as Director in the Institutional Client Group working with clients in the UK and Ireland. She led strategic client relationships and was responsible for distributing the firm's investment offering across equities, fixed income, multi-asset and alternatives strategies to institutional investors, and driving growth across the firm’s account base. Since joining AllianceBernstein in 2007, she has held several roles including Defined Contribution Specialist where she focused on product proposition and strategic business development.
