Robeco appoints Lucian Peppelenbos as Climate Strategist
Rotterdam, 1 October 2020 – Robeco has expanded its SI Center of Expertise team by appointing Lucian Peppelenbos as Climate Strategist as of 1 October 2020.
In this newly created role Mr. Peppelenbos will further develop and enhance Robeco and RobecoSAM’s climate change strategy to help ensure it remains leading practice. In addition, he will chair the climate change task force and help establish further steps in lowering the carbon footprint of Robeco’s investments, transitioning to a lower carbon economy.
Mr. Peppelenbos joins from APG Asset Management, where he served as Senior Responsible Investment and Governance Specialist, responsible for ESG integration in investment portfolios and engagement with investee companies with a focus on climate change. Mr. Peppelenbos holds a PhD in social-economic sciences from Wageningen University.
