Tracking error ex-post (%)
The ex-post tracking error is defined as the volatility of the fund's achieved excess return over the index return. In fund management, most managers are subject to an ex-ante (pre-determined) tracking error, which defines the extent of the additional risk they may take when aspiring to outperform the fund's benchmark. The ex-post tracking error explains the distribution of past fund performances compared to those of its underlying benchmark. With a higher tracking error, the fund's returns deviate more from its index's returns, hence there is a greater chance that the fund may outperform. The wider the spread of returns relative to the benchmark, the more "actively" a fund has been managed. In contrast, a low tracking error indicates more "passive" management.
3.34
3.86
Information ratio
This ratio serves to evaluate the quality of the excess return a fund manager has achieved because it takes the active risk involved into account. The information ratio is defined as the excess return over the benchmark return divided by the fund's tracking error. The higher the information ratio, the better. For example, a fund with a tracking error of 4% and an excess return of 2% over benchmark has an information ratio of 0.5, which is quite good.
-0.52
-0.78
Sharpe ratio
This ratio measures the risk-adjusted performance and allows the performance quality of different investments to be compared. It is calculated by subtracting the risk-free rate from the fund's returns and dividing the result by the fund's standard deviation (risk). So the Sharpe ratio tells us whether a fund's returns are the result of smart investment decisions or stem from taking extra risk. The higher the ratio, the better, meaning that a greater return is achieved per unit of risk. This ratio is named after its inventor, Nobel Laureate, William Sharpe.
0.32
0.87
Alpha (%)
Alpha measures the difference between a portfolio's actual return and its expected performance, given the level of risk, compared to the benchmark. A positive alpha figure indicates that the fund has performed better than expected, given the level of risk. Beta is used to calculate the level of risk compared to the benchmark..
-1.02
-1.83
Beta
Beta is a measure of a portfolio's volatility, or systematic risk, in comparison to the benchmark. A beta of 1 indicates that the portfolio will move with the benchmark. A beta of less than 1 means that the portfolio will be less volatile than the benchmark. A beta of more than 1 indicates that the portfolio will be more volatile than the benchmark. For example, if a portfolio's beta is 1.2 it is theoretically 20% more volatile than the benchmark.
0.89
0.94
Standard deviation
Standard deviation is a measure of the dispersion of a set of data from its mean. The more spread out the data is, the higher the deviation. In finance, standard deviation is applied to the annual rate of return of an investment to measure the investment's volatility (risk).

Sustainability
The fund incorporates sustainability in the investment process by the means of a target universe definition, exclusions, negative screening, ESG integration, and voting. The fund invests at least two-thirds in companies that have a Gender Equality score of 50 or higher and only invests in companies with positive or neutral SDG scores based on the internally developed SDG Framework. Market development
Global markets extended their February sell-off into a sharp March correction, with the MSCI World down -8.0% in EUR and -4.3% in USD. The decline began after Walmart issued downbeat guidance and worsened as broader US data pointed to a slowing economy and sticky inflation. Confidence fell among both consumers and corporates. Capex plans were slashed, and CEO sentiment declined. Trade policy uncertainty under 'Trump Turmoil 2.0' added pressure, leading investors in search of safer assets. Only energy (+4.4%) and utilities (+2.4%) ended in positive territory. Sectors such as IT (-8.9%), consumer discretionary (-8.2%), and communication services (-7.5%) lagged. Europe and Asia outperformed the US, with Norway, Austria, and Spain among the best performers. Denmark lagged. President Trump's executive orders targeting DEI programs evoked criticism. The portfolio remains focused on high-quality, gender-leading companies with strong fundamentals and diverse talent pipelines, particularly in sectors such as healthcare, consumer staples and financials, which show greater female representation in leadership and STEM roles.
Performance explanation
Based on transaction prices, the fund's return was -8.33%. In March, the portfolio underperformed versus the benchmark. The main drag came from sector allocation, particularly the portfolio's zero exposure to energy and utilities, which together cost 50 bps in relative performance. However, stock selection and currency effects were positive contributors. Strong performance in information technology was driven by an overweight in Check Point Software Technologies and underweights in underperforming names such as Apple and Broadcom. In communication services, the portfolio benefited from a defensive overweight in Deutsche Telekom and an underweight in Meta. The strongest stock-selection alpha came from European financials, notably Allianz and Intesa Sanpaolo, which contributed about 40 bps. Consumer staples also had a strong month, with Unilever having news of a CEO change and expectations of a faster restructuring. On the downside, Lululemon Athletica detracted despite strong Q4 results, due to soft guidance and store traffic slowdown. The broader consumer discretionary sector was pressured by tariffs and economic uncertainty, though the portfolio still continues to favor Lululemon's high-quality, halo Global Wellbeing brand.
Expectation of fund manager

Audrey Kaplan
A new era in global markets has begun, with a rotation out of US stocks, and Europe emerging as a prime beneficiary. With ongoing policy uncertainty, including tariffs on allies and non-allies, job cuts in the federal workforce, and funding reductions for institutions such as the NIH and academia, we remain cautious on US equities and focused on fundamentals. Europe, where companies trade at attractive valuations, is currently overweight in our Global Gender Equality strategy, while North America is underweight. Despite Europe outperforming US equities by the widest margin in 25 years, we see more opportunities ahead. We are also overweight in Japan, where equities have the highest earnings revisions. Our portfolio focuses on companies who lead in gender equality, diversity, and inclusion, with strong operational performance and lower environmental impact. In uncertain economic times, our focus remains on the fundamentals.
